02/14/2002	MPLAY has recieved a minor upgrade to 1.6.2r3 for improved Tool-support (update available for download). MP3-to-AIFF and MP3-to-WAV has been released in version 2.0. Completely rewritten for multiple file conversions and easy operation! Two additional converters is also released: AIFF-to-WAV and WAV-to-AIFF. All converters can be used as Tools from within MPLAY*, as well as stand-alone applications. Check out the tools & utilities section for download! * requires at least MPLAY 1.6.2r3

	11/21/2001	MPLAY has been updated to version 1.6.2! The fullscreen fades works again! (this feature has been unoperational for quite some time...) New features: With an item highlighted in the playlist, choose Cmd-B ("Bring to front in Finder") to reveal it's actual location in the Finder... Also, MPLAY goes frontmost when files are dropped on it - handy if MPLAYs window is partly covered by other windows... Bugfixes: Removed a bug that occured when quitting MPLAY and clicking Cancel on the "Save Changes"-dialog. Also removed a bug that affected video playback performance after the fullscreen moviecontrolpanel had been closed.
	10/30/2001	Small update released - 1.6.1r6: Minor bugfixes. Also added the ability to ignore the Preferences file when MPLAY is launched by holding down the Cmd-key. This is useful if your Preferences file has been damaged, which often is the case if MPLAY crasches when launched.

	10/01/2001	Another small update - 1.6.1r5: Updated the ID3 tag editor to allow editing of multiple songs without closing the editor. It now also displays encoding info on the MP3's. Also increased the playlist limit from 999 items to 9,999! I have not tried this out, though (I don't have 9,999 files handy for testing!). Please report the functionality to me instead. You may have to increase the memory for MPLAY if you're about to add 9,999 items to the playlist!? The status of 1.7? I have been busy for a while so the release is rescheduled to later this autumn... Also - the UpdateChecker tool has been removed. Since my webhost made some technical changes on their servers, the UpdateChecker no longer works! It will be released again once I figure out what's wrong...
	06/27/2001	Released a small update - 1.6.1r4 - that takes care of some minor bugs concerning the TrackMixer. Also included in the 1.6.1r4-package is the new UpdateChecker tool (this tool is also available for download in the Tools section). I'm currently working on the major 1.7 update, which will be available after the summer...

	05/18/2001	I'm currently working on version 1.7, which is intended to be OS X compatible. The Carbon adjustments is far more complicated than I first though it would be, so I beg you to be patient. A beta release will be available quite soon...
	04/12/2001	A minor bug concerning the Pause-setting between tracks was discovered. As a result of this the 1.6.1r3 update was released. This update only addresses this issue, so if you never use this feature (useful when recording to minidisc) you don't need to download the r3 update.
